RALEIGH – Apple is getting additional incentives for its development and expansion efforts in western North Carolina.

The Triangle Business Journal has the details.

“The small town of Maiden in Catawba County, located 45 minutes northwest of Charlotte, has been the recipient of Apple’s investment since 2009. Its massive data center there started with a single server building and a $1 billion investment. Flash forward to today, and the cumulative investment has more than tripled at the site,” reports Lauren Ohnesorge.
