DURHAM – ArchiveSocial has completed a merger with two other firms, Monsido and NextRequest, and the new entity will now be known as Optimere, which plans to hire as many as 150 new workers across the newly formed companies seven office locations, including Durham.

The company announced the news Wednesday, in a statement shared with WRAL TechWire.

In 2021, ArchiveSocial acquired NextRequest and Monsido.  The company noted in the statement that it experienced a “record year” including adding 1,400 new customers and hiring 120 new employees.

Combined, the company experienced more than $30 million in annual recurring revenue, the company shared in its statement, which the company has attributed to the “rapid expansion in digital communications and the challenge for private and public organizations to meet the complex and growing regulatory burden.”

“Building trust is imperative for every organization across the globe, but for too long digital communication has compromised trust with unreliable content,” said Ray Carey, CEO of Optimere, in a statement.  “Our mission at Optimere is to provide organizations with a roadmap to make it easier to comply with regulations and standards that will ultimately enhance trust in their critical communications.”
