The News & Observer has selected Hosted Solutions to be the new host for its web site.
Newsobserver.com draws nearly 900,000 visitors per month and is updated 24 hours a day.
“We evaluated a range of managed hosting options for our online channel, said Gary Smith of The News & Observer in a statement. “We chose Hosted Solutions because we felt comfortable that their top notch infrastructure and deep technical expertise will ensure that our website is up and running 24 by 7.”
Hosted Solutions offers collocation, fully managed servers, managed firewalls and a variety of services. It operates data centers in Raleigh, Cary and Charlotte.
