Just in time for the 2005 hurricane season, the Weather Channel is teaming up with a Texas firm to offer more local features during live national weather broadcasts.
The localized, interactive features include radar, forecasts, and current conditions as well as allergy information and a UV index.
Alticast, which is based in Austin TX, designed the services.
